The Cope Environmental Center provides many great opportunities for children to learn about nature and conservation.
There are also many trails for people to "hike themselves healthy" on, but for myself and many others the main draw at Cope
is the wildlife.
Cope has a variety of different habitats that sustain many different species of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians,
insects, and other creatures. Habitats such as pine forests, grassland prairies, and cattail marshes are some of
the unique aspects that set Cope apart from other nearby natural areas.
